Today, we provide Facilities Support + Property Operations services across commercial workplaces, housing portfolios, relocation accommodation and construction environments. Light & Airey began in 2005 as a domestic cleaning business, built around reliable service, consistent standards and strong client relationships. Those early years established the foundations of the business and the reputation for dependable delivery that would later open the door to larger opportunities

A significant turning point came when Light & Airey began working with EF International Language Schools. The contract took the business beyond domestic cleaning and into larger-scale accommodation delivery, requiring greater coordination, staffing, scheduling and quality control across multiple properties.

Over a seven-year partnership with EF, Light & Airey developed the operational capacity to prepare more than 250 student rooms per week across multiple buildings. Delivering consistently at this scale required workforce planning, recruitment, training, detailed scheduling and quality assurance — strengthening our capability to take on larger commercial contracts.

As our capability grew, so did the responsibility clients trusted us to manage. Light & Airey expanded into housing and relocation support, coordinating property turnaround, cleaning, grounds works and associated services across individual properties and wider portfolios.

Our experience in deadline-driven property environments led naturally into construction support. Light & Airey began delivering builders cleans, sparkle cleans and associated site support, working around construction programmes and handover deadlines to prepare buildings for completion and occupation.

Today, Light & Airey brings more than 20 years of experience together under one operating model: Facilities Support + Property Operations. Commercial cleaning remains a core service, alongside property turnaround, construction support, grounds maintenance and associated property services — coordinated with clear oversight and a single point of accountability.

Student Rooms Per Week

Over a seven-year period, Light & Airey coordinated large-scale summer accommodation programmes for EF International Language Schools, preparing more than 250+ student rooms per week across multiple buildings while continuing to support year-round residential accommodation.

This required detailed workforce planning, recruitment, training, scheduling and quality assurance within strict occupation deadlines.

We strengthened our health and safety procedures, operational management systems, staff training programmes and recognised industry accreditations to support safe, professional and accountable service delivery.
